Belgrade Airport marks record-high year – 8.9 million passengers transported in 2025

The figure marks an increase of 6.5% in 2024 or growth of over 544,000 travelers.
The number of commercial aircraft movements grew 3.9% to 89,480.
During 2025, Air Serbia was the largest carrier by available seats, while the ATR72-600 was the most common aircraft type based on the number of operated flights at Belgrade Airport, just ahead of the Airbus A319.
During the year, Serbia’s capital was most connected with Zurich, followed by Vienna, Podgorica and Istanbul.
Air Serbia was the airport customer with the largest available capacity in 2025 at 5.5 million seats, representing a 1.4% increase year-on-year.
In second place was Wizz Air, which recorded a 22.6% increase in passenger numbers to 1.9 million, and in third place was Lufthansa with a capacity of 0.5 million seats, with a 12.7% increase year-on-year.
