New square meters for Novi Sad’s creative district in former Chinatown

A district has been developing in the former Chinatown of Novi Sad for some time now, where culture, art and creativity are increasingly gaining focus and their place. Some of the buildings at this location, after previously completed reconstructions and repurposing, are already in operation, while others are still awaiting construction works and new uses. For one of them, a building located on cadastral plots 7335/21 and 7335/22 in Despota Stefana Boulevard, an official change in location requirements for works (reconstruction and renovation) has been approved, after which, as can be seen, this building will have the purpose of a creative district.

This is a building with an area of about 2,500 square meters, consisting of a ground floor and a gallery, or two business premises.

The City Administration for Urban Planning and Construction of Novi Sad approved the change in previously issued location requirements precisely because of the change in the total gross developed construction area.
