Slovenia's car parts maker Grah Automotive opens another production hall in Batocina - Jobs for 400 people

Slovenia's Grah Automotive, which makes car parts, opened Thursday another production hall in its factory in Batocina and hired 400 workers.
As the Office of Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic announced, Grah Automotive has receieved a total of EUR 1.6 million from the state, that is, EUR 4,000 for each newly created job.
The investment by the Slovenian company is worth EUR 11.2 million. The production hall spans 4,500 square meters, and a new hi-tech equipment is already installed in it.
Slovenia's Grah Automotive already has a 2,500-square-meter production hall in Batocina. The company mainly exports its products to the EU. As it was announced, Grah decided to make a new investment due to an increase in the production volume.
Grah Automotive produces "cable sets" for rear-view mirrors, mirrors and interior lighting for cars and supplies these parts to Audi, Mercedes, Ford.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic attended the opening ceremony of the new production hall and assessed on that occasion that Sumadija was becoming a new center of the automotive industry.
President of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) Mladjan Dinkic stated Thursday, at the opening ceremony, that the program for encouraging investments was the best in Serbia in the last year, adding that the next government should additionally improve it.
