Modern Israeli scanners for faster and cheaper examinations arriving in Serbia and region

The Israeli company Nanox Imaging Ltd., known for developing advanced medical devices, has signed an agreement for the exclusive distribution of its Nanox.ARC system in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The local partner in this project is the Belgrade-based company Adriamed, which will be responsible for the import, distribution, installation and servicing of the devices in the region, according to an official Nanox press release published on the GlobeNewswire platform.

Nanox.ARC is a digital X-ray system with tomosynthesis, which means that it creates 3D layered images of the internal structures of the body, including the lungs, bones, joints and chest.

While digital tomosynthesis has so far been used in Serbia mainly in breast mammography, Nanox.ARC enables imaging of various organs and bones, which significantly expands the possibilities of diagnostics.

Compared to traditional X-rays, Nanox.ARC provides more precise images, while using less radiation and not requiring expensive installations and space like CT scanners or MRI devices. This means that examinations can be faster, more accessible and more affordable, while hospitals and clinics have the opportunity to modernize their diagnostic procedures with advanced technology.

This agreement paves the way for Nanox.ARC to soon become available in healthcare institutions in Serbia and the region, giving patients access to modern diagnostics that were previously unavailable.
