EXIT named best event organization in Europe

The EXIT Festival won the Promoter of the Year award in Groningen, awarded in the final of the most prestigious European festival competition, the European Festival Awards, EXIT representatives announced.

The ceremony was held on January 14 at the opening of the Eurosonic Noorderslag event in Groningen, the Netherlands, which every year brings together the most prominent figures in the music industry. The Promoter of the Year award is given by a jury of dozens of leading experts from the European music industry with the aim of recognizing and rewarding event organizations that have pushed the boundaries of what is possible in order to provide unforgettable experiences for the audience. In an extremely strong competition that included Tomorrowland, Sziget, as well as the leading German event organization FKP Scorpio and the Austrian concert and production company Barracuda, EXIT was named the best event organization in Europe, achieving one of the most significant victories in its history.

On behalf of Exit, the award was received by founders Ivan Milivojev and Dusan Kovacevic, along with Ognjen Tomasevic, a member of the festival team.

– This award means a lot to us, especially since for the first time in our history this year we will not be at the fortress – said Milivojev.

Thanking for the award, Kovacevic emphasized that the jubilee 25th edition had been the most challenging in its history. At the end of his speech, Tomasevic concluded his message of gratitude to the Exit team and the youth of Serbia with the words “we will be back, that’s for sure.”
