Wizz Air to launch direct routes from Belgrade to Sardinia and Sicily in March

Wizz Air announced today that it will launch direct routes from Belgrade to Alghero in Sardinia and Palermo in Sicily in March this year.

- We remain committed to expanding our offer of destinations from Belgrade and strengthening Serbia's connections with key tourist destinations in Europe - said Wizz Air Corporate Communications Manager Olivia Harangozo.

Wizz Air currently offers 32 routes from Serbia, connecting it to more than 10 countries across Europe.

It was highlighted that, from January to December 2025, the airline operated more than 1,000 flights and transported nearly two million passengers with a flight performance rate of 99.8 percent, which is among the highest in the sector.
