Bor preparing urban planning design for new residential area – Up to 80 prefabricated houses planned for relocation of households threatened by mining activities

The Bor City Administration has announced a tender for the development of an urban planning design with a preliminary design and complete design and technical documentation for a part of the Bor 2 settlement, where the formation of a new residential area intended for the relocation of the population whose buildings are threatened by mining activities is planned.

The estimated value of the procurement is 3.33 million dinars excluding VAT.

The planned settlement will include several cadastral plots on the Cokanjica stretch, with a total area of more than 28,000 m2, which are in public ownership. The urban planning design should envisage the construction of 60 to 80 housing units of various structures, with accompanying facilities – children’s playgrounds, green areas, shared and social spaces, traffic accesses and complete utility infrastructure.

The settlement will be formed of prefabricated container units with areas of 30, 50 and 70 m2, while a plot of about 150 m2 is planned for each residential building, including parking space. The use of electricity for heating and air conditioning is planned, as well as the construction of water supply, sewage, electricity and telecommunications networks.

The subject of the procurement includes the development of an urban planning design with a preliminary design, a preliminary design for obtaining location requirements, a design for a building permit, as well as a design for construction.
