Completion of works on building of Business Center Ušće in May 2005, €30m invested

Construction of Business Center "Ušće" is coming to an end. Its opening is scheduled for May 2005. The works are 6 months late due to winter pause and mistakes of collaborators. "European construction" has so far invested about €30m in reconstruction of this building. The building now has one floor more and new telecommunications antenna, so that total height this 25-storey building is 134. There is multipurpose space on the highest floor, which will be used for settling of the restaurant, atrium, conference hall and fitness center. Office space is 21,000 square meters big and the price of rental will be similar to that in the exclusive hotels "HYATT" and "Intercontinental".

The price of rental is an average one in Belgrade and it will amount to €25 - €28 per square meter. The first renter is already knot: the first ten floors will be used by Hypo Alpe Adria bank. Since there were some doubts that radioactive material was used during the construction, the experts from Vienna-based University checked ecological condition and determined that there was no high radioactivity.

This is modern type of civil engineering, outdoor space that can be divided according to the needs of the user. The building will have permanent security, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting with enough luxury, so that this office space can be considered as top-quality one.

The construction of second phase that will include organization of surface surrounding "Ušće" has been announced. There will tennis and golf courts, hypermarkets and other contents. This phase of the construction should be completed in 2007 and it will cost about €100m. The construction of another tower is also in the pipeline, the completion of which is expected in 2008.
