Americans to finish villas on Zavala - Turner Construction starts working on complex near Budva on 1 March 2012

The Astra Montenegro Investment Association (AMIA) and one of the leading U.S. construction and project management companies - Turner Construction, will start the finishing work on a vila complex on the hill of Zavala near Budva on March 1st.

This is envisaged by an agreement signed between representatives of AMIA and the U.S. company. AMIA's representatives told Mina-biznis news agency that the association was committed to completing the construction project on Zavala as soon as possible.

- Cooperation with Turner Construction shows our wish to do the job in line with the world's highest standards. Turner Construction is known as a company that insists on quality and respects deadlines - said people of AMIA. They added that Turner Construction's European head office was situated in Istanbul, while its regional offices were based in Moscow and Belgrade, The Zavala villa complex project is the first project in Montenegro to involve this company.

Turner Construction currently runs projects spanning over 36m square meters, with the value of USD 39 billion, and it is present in 60 countries worldwide since 1965.

- That is the second U.S. company to participate in the implementation of the Zavala project, the first one being the main contractor Monterra, which is owned by investors from the United States of Amercia - reads AMIA's statement. They also announced that the engagement of U.S. companies was backed by the U.S. Embassy to Podgorica.
