Whole village for sale for EUR 300,000

A small French village, which was abandoned a long time ago, is put up for sale with all its facilities at the starting price of EUR 300,000, the French media report.

This village is situated 40 kilometers away from Limoges, in central France, and consists of several family houses with auxiliary buildings, a cultural center, a chapel and the ruins of a 13th century chateau. It also comprises few tennis courts and a swimming pool.

This village used to have 200 inhabitants, but people started moving out in the early 1970s.

After several futile attempts at reviving it, the village was put up for auction sale two days ago.
