Vladan Stojković, general manager of Union Šped: A year of great results, we made the biggest leap so far

In a year in which challenges and accelerated changes intertwined, Union Sped has realized several large operational ventures, among which the role of the main logistics partner in the Sava bridge construction project stands out. At the same time, the company initiated the acquisition of Intersped B, opened a new office in Bor and began the process of intensive digitalization, which laid the foundations for a new phase of growth. About the jubilee, key business steps and strategic decisions

that shaped this year we are talking to Vladan Stojković, General Manager of Union Špeda.

In parallel, we opened a new office in Bor, which further strengthened our presence in Eastern Serbia and approached the needs of industrial clients in the mining and metals sector.

These results, as well as the dedication of all the employees, gave us space to make several strategic decisions in our jubilee, 15th year of business which will shape the company`s future growth – from the acquisition of Interšped B to the new development and infrastructure projects ahead.

Intersped B comes from the same business segment and represents a logical choice within our horizontal integration strategy - an approach through which, by uniting two related forwarding companies, we increase the volume of business, gain greater market power and a more stable operational basis. With this move, we start managing a portfolio of over 200,000 shipments per year. Such scale gives us a stronger negotiating position, increases operational stability and opens up space for the development of new services and specialized logistics solutions.

- Our most recent acquisition of Intersped B is not only aimed at increasing the volume of goods,

but above all to strengthen the quality of the services we provide. Intersped B is known for its high standard of work, and our goal is to maintain that quality and further improve it through an intensive digitization process that we are implementing during 2025.

In order to put all these plans into action, we formed a special development department whose task is to identify key growth points in the companies Union Speed ​​and Intersped B, maximize the synergy of the two companies, define new services and lead their implementation. In this way, we ensure that the digital solutions and innovations we introduce not only remain at the technology level, but directly improve our operational and service quality.

In this way, we want to ensure that Union Šped and Intersped B are fully prepared for the new generation of logistics needs - faster, more transparent and technologically advanced service that brings real value to clients.

The construction of the new warehouse will contribute to increasing the capacity of the logistics park by 15,000 pallet places, with the expansion of business premises, which will allow us more stable capacity management and greater maneuvering space in our daily work. The new facility will not dramatically change the way we operate overnight, but it will give us the infrastructure we need to gradually improve the processes, distribute operational loads better and support further growth of the company more efficiently.

I believe that the combination of our teams` expertise, new technologies and infrastructure investments will position Union Šped as a company which sets standards in the region and remains the first choice of clients in the long term.
