Srbija Eksport company established - For faster and more efficient cooperation with Africa

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce has established the company Srbija Eksport, which will be responsible for facilitating economic cooperation between African countries and Serbia. Srbija Eksport will be a kind of platform for trade and joint projects with the African economy and will operate according to the system of large foreign trade companies, explained the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez, addressing the participants of the second conference “Serbia - Africa 2025: Dignity” organized by the Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA).

- We will be able to implement joint projects with the African economy, provide support to Serbian and African businesses and implement import-export transactions, investments and knowledge transfer - said Cadez.

He stated that a special catalog had already been created with profiles of more than 50 companies from Serbia from various industries that were interested in cooperating with companies from Africa. By establishing Srbija Eksport, companies will receive a single point of contact in all phases of project implementation, institutional guarantees and support for easier mutual business and solving everyday challenges.

- Many of these domestic companies are already present on the African market and are interested not only in exporting to new African markets, but also in investments and joint projects with partners from the African continent - said Cadez.

Serbia’s trade exchange with African countries in 2024 amounted to USD 1.3 billion and has great potential for growth. Serbia also wants to become a logistics and production hub for African companies on their way to the European market, the CCIS statement said.
