NIS "Jugopetrol" offers 22 million USD, while "Daimler Chrysler" offers 10 million USD and construction of flotation for exploitation of smelter slag of RTB

Domestic company NIS "Jugopetrol" sent the offer to exploit smelter slag that is owned by – Mining-Smelter Basin (RTB) Bor to the management of this company. Before NIS, same kind of offer was sent by German corporation ``Daimler – Chrysler``, of which part is automobile factory ``Mercedes``.

Management of NIS ``Jugopetrol`` offered founding of joint venture for slag exploitation and investments of 22 million USD in procurement of the most necessary new mining-metallurgy machines. The offer of ``Daimler-Chrysler`` consists of construction of new flotation for slag processing, which would become property of the Basin after exploitation ended. Besides, Germans are willing to invest €10m in procurement of new machines necessary for more productive labor in local mines.
