Third round of RES auctions expected

Representatives of RES Serbia, the Board of Directors and the Manager of the Association met with a delegation from the Ministry of Mining and Energy, led by State Secretary Sonja Vlahovic. The meeting particularly highlighted the need to amend and improve the regulatory framework, as well as laws that are not directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, which could attract new investments in the RES sector, the RES Serbia Association announced.

The current work and activities of the RES Serbia Association, membership growth and intensive involvement in the work of international organizations WindEurope and SolarPower Europe were presented.

In accordance with the announcements, the members of the Association have built the projects that won during the first two rounds of auctions. The need to hold a third round of auctions was emphasized, as well as the expectation of a third round of auctions, which is in line with the Plan for the Incentive System for the Use of RES for the period 2023-2025.
