Organized by the National Association of Autonomous and Electric Vehicles (NAAEV) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, the VIII E-Mobility Forum will be held on November 26 and 27, dedicated to modern mobility, autonomous systems and technological innovations.

The program also includes the third Student Innovative Mobility Challenge (SIM-C), a competition of student teams from Serbia, which will once again present the most creative solutions in the field of future mobility.

At the opening ceremony of the Forum, the audience will be addressed by professor Vladimir Popovic, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Ivan Vulovic, President of the NAAEV Board of Directors, as well as H.E. Ilhan Saygili, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Serbia.

(Professor Vladimir Popovic, PhD) The first panel of the forum will be dedicated to the role of Serbia as a regional center of scientific and technological innovations, with a special focus on Nis as a city of smart mobility, but also how cities and institutions are positioning themselves in the development of new technologies and infrastructure solutions that will shape the transport of the future.

The panel “Academy - SIM Challenge 2025” will present innovative solutions from student teams, as well as the experiences of the winners of previous cycles of the competition.

Within this part of the program, the winners of this year’s SIM Challenge will also be announced, which further encourages the development of young talents and their inclusion in modern technological trends.

A special address in this part will be given by a representative of EUTA / European Training Academy, who will provide students with useful information on the possibility of participation and how to manage projects financed from EU funds.

(Panels with many interesting topics) On the second day, the panel titled “Autonomous Systems - Vehicles, Robotics and Algorithm Responsibility” focuses on the transformation of the industry through robotics, automation and the improvement of driver assistance systems, as well as responsibility at a time when algorithms are increasingly taking over decision-making processes.

“Connected Mobility - Cybersecurity, Interoperability and Data Management,” is the topic of the panel on the security aspects of modern networks, data protection in electric vehicles and the challenges that smart vehicles bring in the sphere of information security, emphasizing the importance of digital security in the era of connected mobility.

The last topic of this year’s Forum is “Future Mobility and Energy,” where the role of renewable energy sources in the development of electromobility, the integration of green hydrogen into public transport and modern infrastructure solutions for charging electric vehicles in smart cities will be discussed.

This panel aims to connect the vision of energy transition with solutions that directly impact urban transport and sustainable development.

This year’s Forum is supported by the exclusive sponsor “Hybrid Innovations,” “Star Import/Keos” as the premium sponsor, “Vlatacom Institute,” “Elektroprivreda Srbije,” “Inmold Group,” “Belgrade Waterfront,” “Hyundai Serbia,” “Dualtron Serbia,” “Dekra,” “ABB,” “Delta Motors” as official sponsors.

The panel discussions will enable an interactive exchange of opinions and experiences and a unique opportunity for direct networking with industry leaders, decision-makers, the startup community and the academic sector.

The VIII E-Mobility Forum once again confirms its role in promoting sustainable and smart mobility, bringing together experts who are shaping the future of transport.
