From May next year, the city-hotel Sveti Stefan could reopen its doors, and according to unofficial information, management could be taken over by world tennis ace Novak Djokovic.

This possibility is increasingly certain after a meeting recently held in the Government of Montenegro.

As RTV Budva has learned, the meeting was held at the initiative of the Government last Tuesday, and was attended by representatives of the companies Adriatic Properties, which currently manages the Sveti Stefan complex, Hoteli Stefan AD and HTP Milocer.

According to sources, it was agreed that Djokovic, as a representative of the Aman hotel chain, would take over the majority share package, which would enable the reopening of the prestigious tourist complex after five years.

Official confirmation of this information has not yet arrived, but sources state that details could be known soon, while preparations for the opening are planned for May next year.
