Government of Serbia introduces financial support programme for all those who decide for realization of "greenfield" investments on territory of Republic

Minister of Finance, Mlađan Dinkić, announced that the Government of Serbia would pass the measures whose aim was to support investors for investments in Serbia.

Dinkić said that, in the future, the "greenfield" projects would be financially backed in a way that the small and mid-sized enterprises would obtain means according to the number of employees, whereas the big investors would receive financial aid according to the amount of the capital invested in Serbia.

- In the following period, the attention will also be paid to the public investments in the infrastructure, because it is necessary for us to finish "Corridor 10" as soon as possible - said Dinkić, pointing out that it will be asked in the negotiations with the creditors that the part of Serbia's debt towards Club de Paris be written off conditionally and that that money be invested in the construction of highways and other infrastructural facilities in the country.
