NEMŠIĆ: Austrian "Mobilkom" has information that nobody else has

Austrian mobile telephony operator "Mobilkom" has good chances to buy Serbian "Mobi 63", says the general manager of "Telekom Austria" and the head of Austrian mobile operator Boris Nemšić.

- In Serbia, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, nothing is done yet. We have the open race in which, however, we have good chances, since we own the information that nobody else has - Nemšić pointed out and added that "Mobilkom" wanted to buy "Mobi 63" in Serbia and "Telekom Srpske" in BiH.

Nemšić did not want to reveal what is the price his company is ready to pay, but he pointed out that 3.1 billion EUR was at his disposal for the expansion of the company prior to the year 2009, which is, according to his estimate, enough for plans in Serbia and BiH.

Asked whether he is ready for "greenfield" investment in Serbia, i.e. making of new network in case "Mobilkom" does not become the buyer of "Mobi 63", Nemšić responded that he did not think about that yet.
