Foreign investments arriving in Zitiste – 21.9 million dinars for reconstruction of parking lot

As part of the project for the development of local infrastructure and institutional strengthening of local self-government units, the Municipality of Zitiste has received a grant of 21,909,183 dinars for the reconstruction of the parking lot for passenger vehicles on Ive Lola Ribara and Veljka Vlahovica streets.

The project is financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the French Development Agency, and is implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, in cooperation with the local self-government of Zitiste.

The agreement on the allocation of funds was signed last week in the Government of Serbia, in the presence of Prime Minister Djuro Macut and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijevic.

On behalf of the Municipality of Zitiste, the agreement was signed by Deputy Mayor Djordje Zuza.

After signing the agreement, the public procurement procedure and the selection of the most favorable contractor will follow.

The reconstruction of this parking space in the central area of Zitiste will improve the communal infrastructure, increase the number of parking spaces, and improve traffic conditions and citizen safety.
