Green light given for expansion of Free Zone Novi Sad

The Serbian Government gave the green light at its last session to expand Free Zone Novi Sad.

As can be seen in the adopted decision, Privredno drustvo za upravljanje slobodnom zonom “Slobodna zona Novi Sad” d.o.o., Novi Sad at 5a Bajci Zilinskog Street, was given permission to expand its area on 9 ha 10 a 67 m², designated by cadastral plot number 6887 KO Kac.

This plot, as indicated, is connected to the free zone area into a business entity, spatially fenced and specially marked.

Let us remind that, last summer, the Free Zone Novi Sad area was expanded to include the municipality of Indjija. As indicated at the time, the expansion of Free Zone Novi Sad to the territory of the Indjija municipality aims to create conditions for strengthening existing investments and attracting new ones, increasing the volume of goods production and increasing employment, with the ultimate goal of increasing the competitiveness and economic development of the Indjija municipality.
