New mining explosives production plant launched at Tvek factory in Ljubija – Investment of 8.5 million convertible marks

President Milorad Dodik launched a new mining explosives production plant at the “Tvek” factory in Ljubija near Prijedor.

The “Tvek” factory produces, stores and transports mining explosives, and provides drilling and blasting services, international transport of cargo and dangerous goods, as well as civilian shooting range services.

The mixed-ownership company Explosives Factory “Tvek Ljubija” has been operating since 2002.

Director of the “Tvek” Factory Dusko Dolinic thanked President Milorad Dodik for the great help he had provided in completing the project to build a new mining explosives production plant on time.

– We excavated and transported 80,000 cubic meters of poor-quality material from this area, upgraded and installed 40,000 cubic meters, built a 2.5-kilometer power line and a four-kilometer water supply network. We installed more than 2,000 cubic meters, mainly in the explosives warehouse, which resulted in an investment of 8.5 million marks – said Dolinic and thanked the Mayor of Prijedor, Slobodan Javor, who continuously monitored the work of this factory and helped in every phase of this project.

He invited investors planning business investments to visit Prijedor and highlighted the positive experiences they had had while cooperating with the Prijedor City Administration.
