Tender for section of highway from Matesevo to Andrijevica extended until October 30

Monteput and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have extended, by ten days, the deadline for submitting technical and financial bids for the selection of the designer and contractor for the second section of the Bar-Boljare highway, from Matesevo to Andrijevica. As announced, the tender will be open until October 30.

– Taking into account the complexity of the tender documentation relating to the preparation of bids for the design and execution of works on the second section of the highway, as well as the numerous questions and requests submitted by potential bidders during the procedure, the additional extension of the deadline for submitting bids aims to ensure full transparency and equal access to all interested participants – it was announced.

Monteput states that the additional time allows bidders to prepare their bids in a quality manner, especially considering the procedures required to obtain appropriate security funds related to guarantees, which require additional coordination and administrative steps.

– This increases the competitiveness of the procedure and ensures that the submitted bids meet the technical and financial requirements from the tender documentation to the greatest extent possible – the statement concludes.
