Srbijavode and Chinese company Yellow River Engineering Company sign Memorandum

The public water management company Srbijavode has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Yellow River Engineering Company from China, one of the largest and most respected institutions in the world in the field of water management.

The document envisages joint work on the development and planning of river basins, rational use of water resources, as well as cooperation in research, design, consulting, supervision and construction of water management, hydropower and flood control facilities, including irrigation systems.

The signing of the Memorandum formalized a partnership aimed at implementing the most modern technological solutions and improving technical and institutional capacities in the field of water management.

As part of the visit, the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China, Zu Leiming, also visited Pancevacki rit, one of the key areas for flood protection in the vicinity of Belgrade. On that occasion, the challenges and opportunities for improving infrastructure and further practical application of innovative solutions were presented.
