Italians put production units of former Zaječar-based factory "Timočanka" in operation

Famous Italian company “Kiara” started production of ready-made clothing for Italian market in the units of former Zaječar-based “Timočanka”. In one of the rehabilitated units, 50 former workers of “Timočanke” got their jobs back.

The production started again after four-year break and bankruptcy. The Italian company invested 80,000 EUR in the rehabilitation.

Italian partner announces opening of some other units of former Zaječar-based textile giant and hiring of bigger number of workers. For the start, they will be sewing underwear and sports clothing for the Italian company that rented office space of 800 square meters in Zaječar.

Some companies from Italy and England are interested in putting few more units of “Timočanka” into operation.
