Slovenian "Petrol" and Russian "Lukoil" intend to appear together on tender for procurement of NIS

Slovenian oil company “Petrol” should soon, together with Russian giant “Lukoil”, appear on the “open competition” for procurement of Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS).
Judging by all former prognoses, Slovenian-Russian consortium will have big chances for success in procurement of NIS. The manager of “Petrol”, Marko Križanovski, who planned cooperation with one four companies that are interested in NIS - Austrian “OMV”, Greek “Hellenic”, Hungarian “MOL” and Russian “Lukoil”, recently stated that the capital cooperation with Russians looks completely logical.
According to certain sources, a company as big as “Petrol”, alone on the tender for NIS, wouldn't stand a chance.
Last wee, president and establisher of oil-gas company “Lukoil”, Vagit Alekperov, stayed in Slovenia where, during the meeting with the Prime Minister Janez Janša, he expressed his wish for cooperation with, first of all, the companies such as “Nafta Lendava”, “Luka Koper” and “Petrol”.
