Cement factory "Holcim Srbija" in Novi Popovac obtained certificate on safety and health of employees

In the cement factory “Holcim Serbia”, in Veliki Popovac, near Paraćin, the general manager of the certification company "SGS", Marinko Ukropina, presented the technical manager, Phil Gager, with the certificate ISO 18001, which applies to the safety and health of persons employed in that company and the third parties.

"Holcim Srbija" gives great attention to the security and health of the employees and the third persons. IN addition to this certificate, the cement factory has already obtained certificates ISO 9001, which relates to the quality of the products, and ISO 14001, which refers to the environment protection", said Phil Gager, announcing that "the next certificate will refer to the social responsibility of the employees".

Besides Holcim, only Požarevac-based "Bambi" owns the certificate on safety and protection of workers in Serbia.
