Serbian technology in Africa and Australia - Krusevac-based HCP exports more than 72% of production

The proof that Serbia can also be successful in the field of technology is Krusevac-based HCP, which is the first company in the world to design, produce and offer a fiscal cash register with integrated GPRS terminal.
This company was founded in 2005 and is engaged in the production of fiscal devices for remote control and management of industrial systems, such as fiscal cash registers, printers, modems and terminals, and it exports as much as 72 percent of its production.
- We are the only real producers of fiscal cash registers in Serbia, and our sales account for about 50% of all monthly sales in the domestic market. Aside from the Fiscal division, we also have the Communications division, which designs and produces devices for wireless and M2M data transfer. Our products are mainly offered to markets in Europe and Africa, but we also sell them in Australia and the Near East, that is, in the total of about 40 countries worldwide. We expect to resume our collaboration with Ethiopia and fiscalization process in central Africa - says Dejan Cvetkovic, the CEO of HCP, which employs 46 workers.
Last year the company launched several new products such as state-of-the-arts terminals, cash registers and printers.A wish of the management is to invest in the production by acquiring contemporary machines and strengthening marketing activities.
- HCP was the first company in the world to integrate a GPRS terminal into a fiscal cash register, printer and post terminal, thus enabling undisturbed and easy reading and updating of information. We have invested a lot of money in the development of new products based on bluetooth and GPRS technology in the field of medicine. We are working with a German company to design and produce devices for transfering data from blood pressure meters, blood sugar meters and mobile ECG machines. The company developed the product line "HCP Symphony" in 2011 and presented it in late 2011 on Zlatibor mountain. That line consists of eight fiscal and non-fiscal products with touch screen displays and fast printers and handheld devices. Judging by the reactions of our partners from Serbia and abroad, I believe that this year will be very successful - Milomir Trosic, president of the company, says to eKapija, adding that they invested about EUR 200,000 from its own sources in energy efficiency technology and equipment in 2011.
(Milomir Trosic)
As Trosic points out, they are extremely proud of their machine that makes 3D plastic prototypes of the latest technology.- We are able to turn an idea into a product within 24 hours. We can also do that for external clients.
According to Trosic, the company plans to double its production, sales and gross revenue in 2012.
- We plan to maintain the same production level this year, but we will increase the volume of production if we conclude deals for some projects in the EU and surrounding countries. HCP is one of the leaders in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and we also deliver our products to Ethiopia.
Another wish of the management is to move all divisions to the company's own space in late 2012 or early 2013.
This year HCP won the ProBusiness Leader Award in the category of small enterprises, which is presented by ProCredit Bank.
