Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic visited the Swarovski company, which operates in the Mali Bajmok industrial zone in Subotica, and on that occasion discussed with the management the continuation of cooperation and new projects, as well as the possibility of the company placing more products on the world market.

– The most important thing for me is that I heard the message from them that they plan to continue and develop their business in our country, and that we will fight for more and more products from the Serbian market to take as much primacy and participation as possible on the world market – said Mesarovic after visiting the factory and meeting with management representatives.

This company is engaged in the production and processing of crystals in Serbia and employs over 300 people, mostly from Subotica and the surrounding area.

– As one of five Swarovski factories in the world, it is particularly important because as much as 55% of all Swarovski figurines sold worldwide are produced right here in Serbia. In addition, other products are also created in this factory, including a personalized program and a jewelry program – said the minister.
