Spanish startup eco-trend: New additive makes diesel cars more fuel-efficient and less polluting

Kemegal, a small Spanish chemical company from Galicia, is ready to launch a new additive that promises to revolutionize the efficiency of diesel engines.

Diesel vehicles still represent the majority of the current fleet, or more precisely half of them, but according to the new Green Agenda, they are environmentally unacceptable.

Therefore, solutions like this additive could not only be good news for trying to revive the image of new diesel vehicles, but also for improving the efficiency of existing ones.

Kemegal, a small chemical company with only seven employees, has created Ecokem Additive - an additive that revolutionizes diesel.

After almost six years of work and development by the research and development department of this small company based in Pontevedra, Ecokem Additive is now ready for the market.

It is not just any kind of product, it is an additive that promises to revolutionize the cleanliness and performance of medium and high-power diesel engines.

The product has been tested, and the result is a reduction in CO2 and carbon emissions by 45%, even reaching 60% at low power levels. It also reduces fuel consumption by more than 3%.

– We have a tested product, approved by some of the leading experts in the operation of internal combustion engines and patented. There is no product on the market that reduces this level of emissions – says Kemegal director Miguel Angel Garcia Miguens, in a statement reported by La Voz de Galicia.

After going through several bureaucratic processes, Kemegal has received the green light to market its additive, for which they claim to already have contacts with major fuel wholesalers.
