Design, delivery and installation of an integrated traffic management system on highway between Subotica and Presevo upcoming – MGSI publishes call for tenders

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has published a call for tenders for the design, delivery and installation of an integrated traffic management system on the A1 highway (from Subotica to Presevo). This procedure, as can be seen, is being carried out within the framework of the project for facilitating trade and transport in the Western Balkans.

The project will be implemented, as specified, at 21 intersections on the A1 highway (between Subotica and Presevo) where emergency works on the ITS will be carried out. The Traffic Management Center (TMSC) where this equipment will be located will be presented to the supplier. The current plan is for the central traffic management platform to be located in the Nis Regional Center.

To clarify, Serbia has received funds from the World Bank for the costs of the Western Balkans Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (WBTTF) and intends to use part of these funds to pay for the contract for the procurement of the design, delivery and installation of an integrated traffic management system on the A1 highway.

Bids can be submitted by October 27.
