NextSilicon to open new R&D center in Belgrade

Following the launch of the Maverick-2 chip, based on an adaptable and intelligent architecture, NextSilicon has opened a new R&D center in Belgrade and plans to grow further by hiring 50 more engineers by the end of 2026.

According to the statement, by opening a new, larger R&D center, the company further strengthens its presence in the local market and expands its development capabilities. The move to the new Belgrade offices represents an important milestone in the global growth strategy and confirms its commitment to strengthening innovation through top engineering talent.

The new center is a spacious 1,200 m2 hub designed to encourage innovation and collaboration. The new location in Belgrade further strengthens NextSilicon’s international presence, which includes centers in Israel, the United States, Germany, Switzerland and India.
