Development of preliminary design for Zlatibor Sports Center in progress – Complex with 13 soccer fields, 5 basketball courts, 6 padel courts and a multifunctional hall to be built

In order to further improve the sports infrastructure on Zlatibor, the construction of a new Zlatibor Sports Center has been announced for several years. According to Zlatiborske vesti, the project is currently in the phase of developing a preliminary design for an urban planning project.

The director of the Zlatibor Sports Center, Nikola Novakovic, told Zlatiborske vesti that the modern complex would be located in the immediate vicinity of the gondola, below the Tornik Hotel, and that it would provide exclusive conditions for up to 17 sports teams to work simultaneously.

According to him, the sports center should contain 13 soccer fields, 5 basketball courts, 6 padel courts, a multifunctional sports hall, as well as accommodation facilities for athletes and professional teams.
