From December 1 next year, flying cars will be available in Serbia, announced Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. He made the announcement after a series of meetings he had in Beijing with officials and company representatives. Vucic reported on social media that he had, among others, met with representatives of XPeng AEROHT.

– We have been talking to XPeng about flying cars. I expect them to obtain permits in China for flying cars, which are currently worth around USD 300,000 here (in China). I believe that by December 1 next year, we will be able to show how they function in Serbia and that they will be used during the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 – he said, as reported by Beta.

Serbia, he added, must catch the train of a new technological revolution.

– That is why we discussed, with leading developers of flying cars and innovative transportation systems, the possibilities of introducing their technologies. Their ideas open up space for projects that would bring a new dimension of mobility and place Serbia at the very top of technological progress – stated Vucic, adding that the possibility of investing with XPeng AEROHT was considered, as well as connecting Serbian engineers “with this industry of the future.”
