Post of Serbia to become LLC too

The “PE” prefix is being deleted in front of the name of the Post of Serbia too, but also the company for the development of mountain tourism Stara Planina. Their status is also being transformed into a limited-liability company (LLC), which makes up a total of 12 public enterprises on the list for which the Government of Serbia has written a proposal of a decision on a change of the legal form, reports the N1 portal.

In addition to those two, these are the PE for shelters from Belgrade, the PE Nuclear Facilities of Serbia from Vinca, the Tara National Park, Srbijasume, Srbijavode, the Roads of Serbia, the Official Gazette, the Ski Resorts of Serbia, the Fruska Gora National Park and the Djerdap National Park.

The Post of Serbia, as N1 writes, belongs among the biggest employers in Serbia - of all the public enterprises in Serbia, it has the highest number of employees - 14,032. In 2024, the Post of Serbia had an operating income of EUR 293.13 million and a profit of EUR 17.97 million.

The PE for the development of mountain tourism Stara Planina has 13 employees, an operating income of EUR 842,738 in 2024, whereas the capital assets which will be registered as the capital of the LLC is RSD 3.13 billion.
