"European nickel PLC", after short pause, asks again for permit for opening of nickel mine in tourist zone Mokra Gora

According to data from web-site of Company "European nickel PLC" from England, there is new request by this company for start of research of Mokra gora - with statement that the Ministry of Mining gave priority status to "European nickel" as far as issuing of permit is concerned, in order to be sure that the permit is not issued to some other company during the period of new request submitting".

"European nickel", first of all, reminds "that it agreed with the Ministry of Mining and Energy on cancellation of permit for research of Mokre due to incomplete procedure for request submitting, which Ministry did at the end of 2004".

Also, Englishmen remind that "Geological Institute, Geozavod, on 1950 and 1990, discovered that there are deposits of nickel on Mokra gora. The part of the deposit lies beneath the village Mokra gora and protected area of Šargan, so that it is necessary to consult with the other sectors from the Government of Serbia on the issuing of permit. This procedure will be carried out during the process for new request submitting".
