Flydubai Adds Third Daily Flight to Belgrade on Select Days

Starting September 4, FlyDubai will introduce a third daily flight on select days to Belgrade, increasing its total weekly rotations to seventeen. This expansion follows the recent closure of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, which had operated four to five weekly flights between the UAE and Serbia.

The additional FlyDubai flights will operate on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, departing Dubai at 4:10 AM and arriving in Belgrade at 8:00 AM. Return flights will depart Belgrade at 9:00 AM, landing in Dubai at 4:20 PM (all times local).

These new frequencies will enhance connectivity through Dubai. FlyDubai operates its Belgrade service from Emirates' Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, enabling seamless transfers between the two carriers. All Belgrade flights are operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, featuring 165 seats—10 in business class and the rest in economy.

Last year, the airline carried 182,499 passengers on the Belgrade route, making it the busiest Gulf-based carrier serving the city, ahead of Qatar Airways and the now-closed Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. This represented a 9.9% year-on-year increase, and a 148% rise compared to 2019. August was the airline’s busiest month on the Belgrade route last year, with 18,064 passengers, followed by July and October.
