– The highest fee of 20% will be paid in Santorini and Mykonos in the “central” season. In all other ports, the fee is five euros during the season, and one euro during the off-season – Senicic told RTS.
It is paid by all passengers who disembark from a cruise ship in a port, Senicic added, noting that it was important for people to know that, if they do not disembark from the ship, they are not obligated to pay this fee.
Senicic explained that the fee was a one-time fee, meaning that, regardless of whether you spend one day or three days on an island, it is only paid the first time you set foot on that island.
The fee will be paid exclusively on the ship.
As Senicic explained, when a person disembarks from the ship, by scanning their ship card to show that they have left the ship, their account on the ship itself will be debited, and at the end of the cruise, along with all other expenses, they will pay that cost, or those fees.
