Netherlands ready to aid implementation of BIO4 Campus with its experiences

A meeting between representatives of the business community of the Netherlands and BIO4 Campus was held at the Science-Technology Park Belgrade.

The Netherlands has a successful model of an innovation system, and the meeting was attended precisely by representatives of important and successful Dutch companies that are interested in supporting the implementation of the BIO4 Campus project and improving cooperation with Serbia using their experiences, pointed out Dutch Ambassador Martijn Elgersma.

The ambassador explained that the Netherlands had a model of cooperation between the governmental, non-governmental and academic sectors, which was successful and efficient for the development of innovations, and expressed his conviction that the meeting was the first step in the development of a long-standing cooperation with Serbia.

Serbian National Assembly President Ana Brnabic emphasized that, through parliamentary cooperation, Serbia strove for strengthening political and business cooperation with the Netherlands.

– Considering that the Netherlands is one of the leading countries when it comes to innovations in the European Union, but also globally, biotechnology is a field in which we can learn a lot from it – she estimated.

Brnabic pointed out that the BIO4 Campus project could be one of the key fields in the cooperation of the two countries.
