The Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) will invest around EUR 100 million in the modernization and construction of new petrol stations in Serbia in the next two and a half years, NIS General Manager Kirill Kravchenko said on Friday (13 January 2012), at the opening of the first NIS petrol station of brand new three-color appearance.

The quality of petrol and diesel fuels at the stations will be satisfactory for customers, Kravchenko said at the opening of the first rebranded facility Zmaj Dva, which was also attended by Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas and President of the Belgrade City Assembly Aleksandar Antic.

As Kravchenko explained, NIS moves a step closer to Serbia by opening this “three-color” petrol station, taking into account the colors used in the new NIS brand - red, blue, and white.

The first rebranded NIS petrol station opened on the site of the existing NIS retail facility Zmaj Dva on the highway E-75 on the outskirts of Belgrade.

The new visual identity of NIS petrol stations will retain distinctive features of the old brand NIS Petrol, and the blue color, used for the company`s name, has been introduced to mark synergy with the brand Gazprom Neft.

Modernization of NIS gas stations is done in accordance with the overall modernization of that company and its regional expansion.
