CRH, which operates in Serbia too, takes over generator operations of Croatian Kufner Group

CRH, which provides solutions for construction materials, also known in Serbia under the Moravacem brand, has taken over the operations involving the generators of Kufner Group, which manages four quarries in Croatia and is a leader in the Croatian generator industry market, CRH announced.

According to the press release, the operating fields of rail infrastructure and insulation materials, as well as related companies Remont Pruga Matic d.o.o. and Kumal S d.o.o., are not part of this transaction.

– The acquisition of the operations with generators of Kufner Group shows our dedication to the growth of operations with essential materials in the Western Balkans, supporting the realization of big infrastructure projects in the region – said Sinisa Mauhar, Managing Director of CRH companies in the Western Balkans.

Slaven Kufner, Chairman of the Management Board of Kufner Group, stated that the decision to sell the generator segment to CRH was of extreme importance for the future development of that company.

– This will enable us to strengthen our market position and open new possibilities for growth, with access to global expertise, best practices, innovations and knowledge – he said.
