Transport Community announces establishment of regional register of road transporters for Western Balkans

The Transport Community Secretariat has published the announcement of the future public procurement of technical assistance with the aim of establishing the Western Balkans Register of Road Undertakings (WBRRU), a regional digital platform for exchanging data on licensed road transport undertakings.

This initiative, whose value is estimated at EUR 400,000, aims to enhance transparency, regulatory alignment with EU practices, and regional cooperation between the national bodies in charge of road transport. The platform will enable an improved exchange and management of data in line with the European standards.

The services that the preparation and implementation of this register will encompass will be realized in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Kosovo, in Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, but also from the seat of the selected contractor. The tender will define, with precision, specific tasks, deliverables, and technical requirements.
