Vino Zupa expects to double exports in 2012


Vino Zupa, the biggest wine and juice producer in Serbia, ended the last business year with 50% increase in the physical volume of production and sales and 80% increase in exports, Politika daily wrote Tuesday.
Vino Zupa Director General Rade Jevtovic says that the company is focused on exports, which is why it has become the largest net exporter in the Rasina region and one of the top 20 exporters in Serbia.
- Last year we doubled our exports when compared to 2010. Our plan for this year is to export twice as many products as we did last year. We are not exporting raw materials, but ready-made products - Jevtovic explains.
He stresses that the total amount of investments in Vino Zupa since it was privatized until today is EUR 53 million.
- We have been continuously investing in production facilities, modernization of storage facilities, laboratory, staff, sales channels, acquisition of factories such as Povardarie and Hepok to make our company's system complete, etc. - Jevtovic concludes.
Vino Zupa's shares are listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. With the latest share price of RSD 6,200, the company's market capitalization amounts to RSD 1.2 billion (EUR 11.7 million).
