Peasy is not just a technological solution. There is also the story behind it about a team of friends who have been developing projects and business ideas together for years in areas such as technological entrepreneurship, software and hardware development and digital marketing. They were connected by shared views, but also by everyday struggles with parking in cities across Europe.
– The idea arose from personal dissatisfaction because we ourselves, traveling frequently, constantly encountered the same problem - the lack of available parking spaces and the stress that comes with it – explains Pavle Mitic, CEO of Peasy.

How does Peasy work?
The application works in a simple way: it connects owners of private parking spaces, which are empty most of the day, with drivers who need a safe, pre-booked parking space. Among the owners of the spaces are companies that do not fully use their capacities during the working day. The owners retain full control, they determine when the parking space is available, while the Peasy application and smart barrier automatically manage the process. Drivers reserve a space in advance, pay online and upon arrival using the application, they lower the barrier themselves, without additional arrangements.
– Peasy is here to save time and turn parking into a predictable and easy process, while providing parking space owners with a stable passive income without any additional investment – says Mitic.
A smart parking barrier is installed in each parking space that automatically raises and lowers in accordance with valid reservations recorded in real time.
– All data and transactions are protected by advanced security protocols and encryption, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information. The system has been tested to be reliable and resistant to technical failures, with constant monitoring and the possibility of remote diagnostics. With 24/7 customer support, users and parking lot owners can quickly resolve any problems or concerns – our interviewee explains.
The smart barrier system is a special solution that sets Peasy apart from other similar platforms. The barrier automatically raises and lowers in accordance with reservations recorded in real time, thus preventing unauthorized use.
The parking barrier is designed to be easy and quick to install, and as Mitic points out, so simple that in the future users will be able to install it themselves, without the need for additional technical knowledge.

Pilot phase in Nis
The first users and owners of parking spaces in Nis, where the application is in the pilot phase, gave more than positive comments.
– Users had the opportunity to test our mobile application, which allowed us to collect valuable feedback. We were surprised by how much they appreciated the simplicity and security of the system, while the owners emphasized their satisfaction with the possibility of complete control and passive income without additional engagement. Their expectations were confirmed, but we also received specific suggestions for improvements that we will implement in the future – emphasizes Mitic.
The Peasy parking barrier was successfully tested in laboratory conditions and in the coming months its installation is planned at the first locations in a real environment.
– Our goal is to get a clear picture of all technical and user aspects of the system through the field-testing phase, in order to further improve it before a large-scale expansion. We want every detail, from access, through reservation, to payment - to be reliable, efficient and simple for all parties, both for parking space owners and drivers. Every detail of the parking barrier is shaped by the Peasy vision, where cities are cleaner, streets are quieter, and parking becomes as simple as one click – he states.

From Nis to the whole world
Peasy from Nis does not plan to remain a local project.
– Nis is an ideal pilot market, which is complex enough to validate all the functionalities of the system but also agile enough to enable us to have direct contact with users and adapt quickly. The goal of this phase is not only to check the technical correctness, but also to understand the everyday habits, needs and expectations of both drivers and parking space owners. After Nis, we plan to expand to Novi Sad and Belgrade - cities with a pronounced deficit of parking spaces, a large number of daily migrations and increasing urbanization. These cities are a logical step in our growth because they offer the opportunity to test Peasy in a significantly more complex traffic environment and prove its scalability – says Mitic.
The ultimate goal, he points out, is for Peasy to become a solution used daily by thousands of people across Europe - whether they are renting their own parking space or looking for a safe and pre-booked parking space.
– We believe that the problems we solve are not local, but universal - congestion, waste of time, stress and unused resources. Reducing environmental pollution and human stress are not marketing gimmicks, but the way Peasy impacts society – concludes our interviewee.
