Air Serbia relaunches Belgrade-Geneva service

From today, Air Serbia has a direct air line between Belgrade and Geneva again, the national airline carrier announced. The Serbian air transporter will fly to the second biggest city in Switzerland three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, whereas during July and August, a Sunday flight will also be available.

Air Serbia Commercial and Strategy General Manager Bosko Rupic said that, by connecting the capital of Serbia and Geneva, the company contributed to improving the relations between the two countries and enabled simpler trips.

– A considerable number of citizens who trace back their origins to the Western Balkans region live in Switzerland and we believe that this direct line will be extremely useful to them. That is shown by the data on the sale of air tickets and the passenger demand, due to which we have decided to introduce a fourth weekly flight, in addition to the initially planned three, during the main part of the summer season, in July and August – said Rupic.

It is said that Air Serbia offers connections from Geneva, through Belgrade, to Athens, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Ankara, Heraklion, Istanbul, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Malta, Ohrid, Bucharest, Pula, Rhodes, Sarajevo, Thessaloniki, Skopje, Sofia, Split, Tbilisi, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat, Varna, Vienna, Zagreb and other cities.
