According to the announcement made by the CCIS, this year, Serbia will be the partner-country of this event with a tradition of over six decades, which is a special opportunity for the promotion of local companies and the strengthening of regional cooperation.

It is added that AGRA gathers the most significant producers, innovators and experts from the fields of agriculture and the food industry and provides space for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of modern technological solutions and establishment of business contacts.
During the fair, as announced, the “Food Self-Sufficient and Export-Oriented Region 2030” conference will be held, gathering relevant experts, decision-makers and business people with the aim of joint consideration of the future of the food sector in the region.
Special focus will be placed on sustainable production, innovations in agriculture and connecting producers with consumers.
The CCIS emphasizes that, for the Serbian economy, Slovenia is a strategic market of remarkable economic importance, not just as a market for the placement of goods and services, but also as an important investment destination or a base from which entry to the markets of EU states can be realized more efficiently.
It is reminded that the economic cooperation is showing a growth of the external trade and export of Serbian products to Slovenia and that, in the past ten years, the cooperation has doubled in the total value that it creates, and in addition to the trade of goods and services, the mutual investments are growing too.
AGRA, as emphasized in the announcement, has positioned itself as the most important fair in the fields of agriculture, food industry, forestry and rural development in the region and, each year, it gathers over 1,700 exhibitors from 35 countries and attracts over 100,000 visitors.
Companies and entrepreneurs registered in Serbia from the sectors of agriculture and the food industry, agricultural technology and mechanization have the right to participate in this fair within the national stand.
