Zastava Arms should take over part of the ownership rights in Kosmos Banja Luka.

Information on the negotiations between Kosmos a.d. Banja Luka and Zastava Arms a.d. Kragujevac on the transfer of technology for the production of a metal frame for the AK-47 rifle caliber 7.62 x 39 mm, and the acquisition of part of the ownership rights in Kosmos a.d. Banjaluka, together with the Proposal of the conclusion, was proposed as the agenda for the session of the Government of Republika Srpska.

According to publicly available information, Zastava Arms has developed a wide range of products, which it exports to over 40 countries worldwide. It is 95% autonomous in production, which means that only five percent are imported resources.

By the decisions of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Zastava Arms became an integral part of the Defense Industry of Serbia in 2003.
