According to the documentation, the plan envisages an upward extension of the existing facility within its current dimensions, as well as an increase of the capacity of the commercial features. In the extended part of Delta City, new retail, entertainment and hospitality spaces are planned, as well as a recreation center and a canopied rooftop garden.
According to the available documentation, the total gross developed floor area of Delta City will increase from the current 63,000 m2 to 74,000 m2, which means that an expansion by 11,000 m2 is planned. The commercial features in the K1 zone alone will be expanded by an additional 10,000 m2, so they will amount to a total of 65,000 m2 (compared to the current 55,000 m2). An increase of the area of the aboveground garage within the facility from 8,000 m2 to 9,000 m2 is also planned.

The number of the employees in the shopping center should grow from the current 1,400 to 1,600, which entails the creation of another 200 jobs.
The investor in the project is Delta City 67 d.o.o. Beograd, whereas the drafting authority is URBANISTIQ d.o.o. Beograd. The plan also re-examines the height and urban planning parameters of the existing facility, as well as the possibility of its reconstruction and repair.
Let us remind that Delta City opened in 2007 as the first big shopping center in Serbia.
The early public review lasts until June 23.
