So far, the company has not said anything official about expanding to the Serbian market.
Today, Eurospin operates in 1,300 locations in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Malta and employs over 22,000 workers. In 2024, the company realized a turnover of close to EUR 10 billion. The group was founded in 1993 as an idea of four entrepreneurs which arose as a response to the growing demand of customers for savings.
Let us remind that, recently, the North Macedonian discount retailer Stokomak entered the Serbian market, whereas the branch office of the French Carrefour in Greece recently confirmed once again that it owned the master franchise for Serbia and announced the entrance of the French brand. Another western European chain is interested in the Serbian market. Its representatives have visited Belgrade several times, but so far, there is no information about arriving to Serbia.
