EUR 10 million for modernization of two heating plants in Novi Sad until 2014

Within the next two years the public company Novosadska Toplana will spend EUR 10 million from a loan granted by the German Reconstruction and Development Bank on the modernization of heating plants Istok and Jug.

People at this company say that the loan is granted under very favorable terms because the repayment period is 12 years, with a grace period and the interest rate of 2.5%. This investment should improve the work of plants that heat Grbavica, Liman, Centar and Podbara.

As Novosadska Toplana CEO Vladimir Jelic explains to Blic daily, this investment will also result in the reduction of gas consumption, thus allowing for regular payment of loan installments.
