University of Belgrade among world’s best ones according to Global 2000 list

The University of Belgrade has placed 387th among a total of 21,462 ranked universities worldwide, according to the recently published Global 2000 list of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), says the announcement by the University signed by Rector Vladan Djokic.

As added, the University of Belgrade has been continuously among the 1.9 percent of the best-ranked higher education institutions in the world for eight years now.

The key elements in ranking the universities according to the CWUR list are: Education (25%), Employability (25%), Faculty (10%) and Research (40% in total): Research Output (10%), High-Quality Publications (10%), Influence (10%) and Citations (10%).

– I thank all the professors, researchers, associates and alumni of the University of Belgrade, whose achievements in education, professional development and science have contributed to the high-ranking position in the world – Rector Djokic wrote in the announcement.
